VENDOR FAQs

Q: How much does it cost to be a vendor at The Lehi Market?

A: Currently, the rate is $25 per market day for a 10' x 10' booth space.

Q: What is provided, and not provided, with my booth space?

A: Tables, chairs, and canopies are NOT included with your vendor booth space, so you should plan to bring those items yourself if desired. Note: Canopies are not required for your booth space. An electrical outlet is provided for vendors requesting electricity (you should bring a short extension cord to connect).

Q: Are there any other requirements for my booth space?

A: If you are setting up a canopy in your allotted booth space, then you MUST bring weights for all four of the  canopy legs to weigh the canopy down in the event of wind gusts. Sand bags, water containers, and canopy weights that are specifically designed for canopies are all acceptable. Cinder blocks are also acceptable.

Q: What kind of licenses / permits are required to be a vendor at The Lehi Market?

A: You will only need an active business license from the city where your business is based. No other licenses or permits are required at this time.

Q: Is there an approval process to be a vendor at The Lehi Market?

A: Most vendors will be accepted, unless we already have too many vendors selling similar products at the market. You will receive a confirmation email within 5 business days of submitting the Vendor Form with your formal approval and instructions for payment.

Q: When is payment due for my vendor fees?

A: Payment for your vendor booth space is due within 3 business days of receiving your approval email. Payment must also be received before you can set up your booth at the market.

Q: When will I know which booth number I am assigned to?

A: Business vendors will receive an email by Tuesday evening each week notifying you which booth number you are assigned to for that week's market (along with a map of the market layout). Youth vendors do not have booth numbers assigned, and booth locations are allotted to youth vendors on a first come, first serve basis. Vendors can visit The Lehi Market canopy at the market upon arrival for guidance.

Q: What time can I begin setting up my booth?

A: You can begin setting up your booth as early as 4pm on the day of the market in preparation for the 5:30pm start time.

Q: Can I use a generator at my booth if I am a non-food vendor or a youth vendor?

A: No. Generators can only be used by our paying food vendors. The use of generators for vendors in our 10x10' booths is prohibited. If you need electricity, then you can request that when you submit your vendor request form.

Q: What happens if there is bad weather on a market day when I paid for a booth space?

A: If there is light rain or light wind, the market will proceed as planned. If there is heavy rain, heavy wind and/or nearby lightning, we may cancel the market for that day. If the market is cancelled prior to start time (5:30pm) or within the first hour (5:30-6:30pm), then you will receive a full refund for that market day. If the market is called off after the first hour (6:31-8:30pm), then you will NOT receive a refund of any amount for that market day.

Q: What is your cancellation / refund policy?

A: If a paying vendor cancels at least 24 hours prior to the start time of their assigned market date, then that vendor will have the option to choose a future market date to attend using their vendor fee that has already been paid (if spaces are available). If a paying vendor cancels within 24 of the market start time, then that vendor will not receive a refund for their vendor fee that has already been paid, and they will not have the option of choosing a future market date.
